Do I need to wear a helmet and reflective tape?
Yes, in Costa Rica this is mandatory. If you don’t, you can get a fine that you will have to cover yourself.
What is my responsibility with respect to the vehicle?
If the vehicle gets stolen, you will have to cover its full cost.
If the vehicle suffers some damage, you will have to cover the difference between your deposit and the cost of repairs.
What are the requirements for renting a vehicle?
You must be of legal age, present your passport or I.D., have an up-to-date driver’s license, and leave a security deposit.
Where can I return the vehicle?
You need to return the vehicle to the same place where you rented it.
If you wish, we can make other arrangements.
Is there a limited mileage?
No, you will enjoy unlimited mileage.
If you rent one of our vehicles for more than a week, we also make available to you a general maintenance service.
Does my reservation include insurance?
Yes, the insurance on your vehicle includes the mandatory automotive insurance, civil liability insurance for the operator, and coverage for immediate attention.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your reservation, you can do so without penalties up to 3 days before the rental date.
If you do not cancel your reservation within this period, we will charge your credit card with 50% of the rental cost.
